Expired Domains

Expired Domains are domain names which have become available again (or are about to become available again - in which case you can back order the domain), because the owner hasn't renewed the domain registration.

There can be a variety of reasons why even good quality domain names may not be reviewed by their owners. For example, the owner may have lost interest, died, gone out of business, etc.

Some expired domain names may be the kind of short memorable domains, which are not normally available, and which you may be make money by selling. Additionally some expired domains may already listed in Yahoo! and/or The Open Directory (DMOZ), and thus already have some traffic (even without you promoting them at all).

There are a number of services which offer lists of expired domains, for example:
  • WebExplode
Expired domains, lists of all newly registered domains daily, custom domain lists.

  • Expired Traffic
We offer access to lists of expired domain names with preexisting traffic.
If you intend to look for expired domains on a regular basis, we recommend you get expired domain search software which allows you to find suitable expired domains for yourself.
